At the time @thomasoglesby18 was still in Springfield MO, I was already in OKC, and TRIAD had been open for about 6 months. I sat in the car for about 30 minutes and we talked over the phone about him coming to work for the company.
.
Thomas and I have been very good friends for a long time. We’re were fraternity brothers in college, and both worked @s2faction together. (He actually got me the job and trained me there.)
.
So, we all thought it would be great to have Thomas here. We already knew him, he didn’t need any training, and thought he would have a ton of potential here.
.
The problem was that we were barely paying our own bills, so could not afford to hire him at the time, and really had no idea when we would be able to start paying him.
.
Yet, without hesitation, he decided to move down to OKC about 6 months after that. What he said was, “I’m just working here in Springfield, I might as well just work down in OKC and then I can help the business in any of my free time.”.
.
So, this dude moved 4 hours away from home to work 100% for free, with no guarantee that he would ever get paid or ever have a permanent job here, all to help a barely surviving business grow.
.
And just because Thomas is such a good guy and hard worker overall, he ended up getting a salary career at OU med while he was helping out here. Yet, he is STILL here helping in the store, training new guys, working events, and helping with anything he can ANYTIME we need him.
.
It is absolutely incredible how much some people have done to help this business for no other reason other than they want to see it succeed.
.
One person I am extremely thankful for is my best friend Thomas. I love ya you big goof ball, the company and myself owe you more than we will ever be able to repay.
