I even see it coming and try to stop it. I regret it literally as it is happening and then feel so bad afterwards that it feels like life has been sucked right out of me.
.
Sometimes, I get frustrated...
.
It happens too easily, and I let it show too much, especially at the store.
.
The worst part is that it’s over things that aren’t a big deal, or aren’t even an issue at all, so it only distracts from more important things.
.
I don’t believe it was always this way. I don’t think I was very angry as a kid, and if you ask @marconia93 , I was pretty easy going when we met in college.
.
I know business has put a lot of stress on me, but I don’t know if this is why. After talking with @thetdave recently he told me it was because I was passionate about the company. This made me feel a lot better, and made a lot of sense. I can definitely be a perfectionist about things I care about, but I don’t believe I should be allowed to use this as an excuse.
.
The guys at the store tell me it’s not a big deal, and I don’t know if they are just being nice, but I personally see a ton of room for improvement.
.
This isn’t a constant problem, but I have hit a few spurts where just I dig myself into a massive hole of frustration. The past couple months have felt like one of these times. They seem to be brought on by times of stress, whether that’s the business not doing as well as we want, or more disagreements than usual with others.
.
I cannot express how sorry I am to those I have shown anger towards. Especially to the team at TRIAD. You guys are literally the most hard working, talented, passionate group of people I can imagine, and I am beyond lucky to have each and everyone of you helping to grow this business. You guys will always deserve better.
.
I understand that anger is a natural human emotion, and it not always a bad thing to let a little show, but I know I have not had the control that I need over it.
.
Right now I cannot tell you what I am going to do to get better, but I can tell you that I have some ideas and I’m 100% determined to make this happen. I WILL improve.
.
In the mean time, patience is greatly appreciated.
