Lately I feel like I am getting distracted a lot, and I’m not getting a lot done throughout the day.
.
Early on when something needed to get done, I either did it, or it didn’t get done. This set the tone for my whole mindset. I always tried to stay as productive as possible. The more I got done, the better the business did...generally.
.
At the same time now, my to-do list is quite a bit shorter, and it is filled with a lot more things that are important, but not very urgent. It seems like I get to work on a lot of things that aren’t daily tasks, but big projects that will help the business grow.
.
It took me a while to get out of my old mindset and realize that all of this is because we have a full team here at the company now. And I’m the one that is responsible to make sure everything runs well together.

I am distracted because I am answering questions and helping everyone else here.
.
I don’t get a whole lot done through the the day myself, but as a team we are accomplishing so much more than I ever could alone.
.
I will admit, I still get a little frustrated when I am interrupted or distracted, but I am beginning to take on a better mindset and being more available to help and lead others here. I am starting to put the team’s productivity over my own. If I can help 2 people accomplish their tasks, we are getting twice as much done than if I only worked on my own tasks and the 2 other people didn’t get anything done.

Now I still have my personal list of to-do’s, but above all else I am absolutely stoked about the group of guys (and girl) that I get to call the TRIAD team. They are all absolute killers and even if I didn’t make myself available, I know that they would still be getting shit done all day everyday. Excited to grow with you all!
