On March 4th of this year TRIAD brought on my girlfriend @marconia93.
.
It was an extremely exciting day. She was here to take care of most of the administration work and keep us organized. I told her how much we needed a person for that up at the store, and her response was, “Well, yeah that’s because you’re all boys.” Not to mention, I was going to get to work with my girlfriend.
.
At the same time I was very nervous. I mean, I was going to have to work with my girlfriend... I felt like this was something that could really well or very wrong. However we recognized this and it was even brought up by others months before.
.
It was actually in late 2018 that I made it a goal to bring her on full time at some point in 2019. This gave us a good amount of time to start preparing. We tried to think of any possible bad scenarios and worked though them as much as we could. She also started working at the store and taking care of certain responsibilities in her free time to test the waters.
.
In January we got so busy, we made the call to bring her on ASAP.
.
Now, after about 3 months of her working here, I would say things are better than I would have even hoped for. She’s an extremely hard worker with a lot of common sense and keeps things well organized. She never hesitates to find other projects to work on when she finished her regular work. And as far as our personal relationship, I would say that is better than ever. We both actually have very different responsibilities at the store, so where we are right by each other all day, we don’t interact with each other as much as I would have thought. Then when we get home, we are both always on the same page. We both were in the same environment all day, so there no catching up, and we can talk more in depth on things that have happened though out the day.
.
I know that we have a lot longer way to go, but I am so happy to say that it has personally worked out for the better for us. I love you girl.
