May 15th, 2015.
.
This was the day I would have graduated college.
.
However, I had dropped out of school about a year before that.
.
I had finished 3 years of school at Missouri State, pursuing a major in graphic design.
.
I was passing my classes, but was not interested in them. I love everything art related, but I was only doing just enough to get by. My teachers would have probably said I was not applying myself, and honestly I wasn’t.
.
I sometimes look back and wonder what it would have been like if I would have applied myself. I think it’s fair to think I would have done much better, and I truly believe I would have enjoyed them a lot more too.
.
That would be ignoring one big question though. Where is this getting me in life? I was honestly not excited for my future after college.
.
As I have said before, I want to do something in life that truly leaves a mark, and I just didn’t see that happening with where I was at.
.
That’s why I left school shortly after I started working @s2faction . I saw a future with this company, and I worked my ass off for it.
.
On a side note, my parents were not happy about me leaving school to work in a supplement store. I can’t blame them, and they have since then become some of the most supportive people of this decision.
.
My path has obviously changed a little since then, but I owe that company and that decision a lot of credit to starting my path to where I am today.
.
I am far from where I want to be long term, but almost everyday I find myself extremely excited for the future and the potential this company has.
.
On May 15th, 2015, the day I was supposed to graduate, the day my extremely supportive girlfriend @marconia93 did graduate, I was approved for a business loan to open up TRIAD and Define Nutrition.
